Muslims everywhere have something to say, and they have turned to the most effective form of communication in this day and age – social media. In a move of solidarity to speak out against ISIS (ISIL), British Muslims began a hashtag social media campaign to denounce the actions being carried out in the name of Islam at the hands of the terror group. Muslims everywhere want to say that ISIS does not represent their faith with the hashtag #NotInMyName.
Social media has exploded with this hashtag. According to Topsy, a Twitter analytics service, in the last 30 days there have been over 18 thousand tweets with this hashtag, 16,000 of which have been in the last seven days.
Join us in our campaign #notinmyname & help us challenge the Khawaarijite ISIS who have no faith & who kill anyone who disagrees with them.
