You could easily say I am a huge fan of Taylor Swift.
I mimicked her haircut a few months ago, I have pre-ordered all of her CDs, and if she’s on the cover of a magazine … I buy it.
She’s awesome, but she’s also normal.
What’s even more amazing about a normal celebrity is she’s using her platform for good … not selfish ambition.
Besides giving every girl her anthem during a breakup, she’s also created a soundtrack for anyone and everyone who has ever felt beaten down by society.
She’s leading her own revolution against bullying and all the haters out there.
A few days ago, she stepped up her game (Is that even possible?!) … by using social media! She proved to be more than just a singer; she proved she is a friend.
She did this by posting the most heartfelt note in response to a photo on Instagram.

Most celebrities have their own social media accounts, but they never reply to comments much less comment on a fan’s photos.
Instead of only posting images to promote herself, she’s giving a young girl confidence.
The best part of this is the fact that Taylor isn’t doing it for applause … which makes me an even bigger fan.
Celebrities (and all people and brands for that matter) should take note of this. A little bit of compassion and a personal touch go a long way.
Do you know a friend who needs a little encouragement? Reaching out via social media may just be what the doctor ordered.
