This past month, as the LGBT community celebrated Pride Month, many companies displayed their support for the community — brands ranging from ones that are extremely active in community outreach, to others that no one would have ever expected.

General Mills launched the website Lucky To Be for their Pride promotion, where they asked viewers to take to social media and tweet why they were proud with the hashtag #LuckyToBe.

Another company that has been extremely active in the fight for LGBT rights and issues, Levi’s, launched a month long campaign as well. The brand created an entire collection surrounding Pride Month, with proceeds going to local pride organizations.

Google is another company that always loves giving back and supports numerous causes, Pride being one of them. You may or may not have noticed, but Google secretly released an Easter Egg Hunt in Google Docs Spreadsheets.

If you open a new spreadsheet document in Google Docs and type out P-R-I-D-E in the first five columns, a flag will magically appear.

As always, Google does not fail to impress us.

Let’s all tip our hats to the brands that are supporting Pride Month — good job!
