Mondays are typically a crap shoot of waking up, cleaning the house and making sure I have my cell phone, laptop, cash, lunch and am wearing shoes that match; I also have to double check that my fiancé has cash, gas in the car, lunch (although this step doesn’t typically happen), and a matching belt and shoe combo. (Again, that last step doesn’t always happen either.)
In an attempt to hold my own in a quasi-intelligent Monday morning discussion, I browse the current news topics to find a few talking points that I can use to dazzle my coworkers and possibly trick them into believing that I actually know what the hell I’m talking about.
