Thursday night, the Fort Worth Opera hosted their 2nd annual Social Media Night in partnership with the Social Media Club of Fort Worth. The audience was invitation only, and members were encouraged to tweet and Facebook throughout the performance of Cosi fan tutte, a romantic comedy by Mozart.
You can find the conversation in social media through the hashtags #FWOFEST14 #SMCFW #Cosi #OperaIsCool.

Tweeting and Facebooking while watching a performance isn’t totally unheard of. In fact, tweeting while watching TV is a common occurrence. Kudos to the Fort Worth Opera for appealing to the younger generation and keeping up with the times.
