Can you imagine a poster that can send a signal to your Bluetooth-enabled mobile device and play music? Or spices exploding to music? These incredible new ads stand out with their creative innovation and artistry. Labeled “The Sound of Taste,” this campaign is produced by Grey London and sponsored by Swartz, a British food brand.
Feel the Flavor
These advertisers have hacked paper! Using conductive ink that turns the paper into a touchscreen, your touch on the poster then produces music through your mobile device. Sixteen different herbs and spices have been translated into musical chords. Cumin was E-flat major and chili was A-flat major.
The Sound of Taste
This isn’t the first time Swartz and Grey London have created something amazing together. Earlier this year they rigged several tons of paprika, black peppercorns, cumin seeds, cardamom, turmeric, chili, ginger and coriander to synchronized explosion with music.
If these ads don’t stimulate your senses with their melding of taste, sound and touch, then you’re missing out. Congrats, Grey London, on a sumptuously spicy campaign!
