The newest Instagram craze is all about helping shelter dogs find homes, and it’s called muttbombing. Catchy, right? It was started by Dallas Pets Alive, an organization dedicated to eliminating the killing of pets.
How it works: Dallas Pets Alive finds selfies on Instagram and edits them to include a dog who is up for adoption. It’s cute, it’s creative and it gets their message out.

Hey @kimkardashian if you adopt me I wouldn't mind changing my name to something more Kardashian-friendly like Karl, Ken or Kalvin. Kalvin sounds kinda rad now that I think of it. My name is Royce (for now) and I'm #muttbombing you in hopes of finding a home. Follow me to muttbombing.com to see how you can help. #selfie
