Well, the Sochi Winter Games will be starting this weekend, and if you haven’t already heard, there’s been some speculation about whether or not this Russian metropolis is even ready to host such a high-profile event. So, if you’re attending this year, here are a few things you may want to consider packing. You know, just in case.

5. Bottled Water

If you’re already a seasoned traveler, you may already know that sometimes, the local water may be questionable. Sochi is no exception, so you may need to bring your own—unless you really do want to contract some kind of flesh-eating disease.

4. A Dustpan

Apparently they forgot to include basic cleaning supplies in the budget for the Sochi Winter Games.

3. Dog Treats

You know, just in case you catch a glimpse of the local wildlife.

2. A Cordless Drill

Basic knowledge of carpentry and interior decoration may be necessary.

1. Your Disregard for Your Own Safety

If you don’t already live on the edge, now is the perfect time to start.
