It’s that time again. The weekly hashtag game from The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon. This week, Jimmy Tweeted out the hashtag #WhenIWasAKid.

Then, as usual, the Twitterverse jumped on the hashtag wagon to share their #WhenIWasAKid experiences.

It’s interesting to see the range of these stories, and how people interpret the prompt. They vary from the “When I was a kid, we walked uphill both ways” sort of anecdotes that show how far we’ve advanced as a culture to the embarrassing “My little Tommy used to eat the gum off the bottom of his desk” sort of stories you dread your parents telling your date. The latter category are the more interesting ones in that they are things that people normally wouldn’t share, but somehow Jimmy Fallon’s managed to create a social circumstance where people can unbridle themselves from these weird memories. It makes me wonder, if we all unload our embarrassing childhood moments online, what are our parents going to tell our prom dates to make us blush?

Do you have a #WhenIWasAKid share?
