Last week, Adidas announced on Instagram that it would be introducing a new app in August 2014 that will allow users to turn their favorite Instagram photos into shoes! With over 54,000 likes and countless articles exploding around the Internet, I have a feeling this is going to be a VERY popular summer product.

Message: ARE YOU READY? Take the #zxflux to the next level with the ultra innovative photo print app from#miadidas. Print your favorite photos straight on to one of 2014’s hottest silhouettes and make a statement on your sneakers like never before. Rolling out on iPhone and Android from August 2014. The possibilities are limitless.

However, with great power comes great responsibility. Now that you have the power to create your own shoes, you must not abuse it. The following should never be made into  shoe patterns:

Selfies

When in doubt, choose a white blouse and take a selfie 📷👸 #the #odd #selfie

Now, things that would work best are: Scenery, patterns, tattoos, little kids and animals, clouds and flowers.

So, what say you? Do you like what Adidas is planning? Do you have an Instagram photo in mind that you want to turn into a shoe pattern?
