Ever wonder how much your tweets are worth? Marc Jacobs decided to open Fashion Week in style last week with the Daisy Marc Jacobs Tweet Shop, where customers could tweet, post an Instagram photo or a Facebook status with the hashtag #MJDaisyChain in order to “buy” items in the shop.
Social currency… how cool is that? People show up at their shop, shamelessly plug them through social media and earn a reward of perfume, jewelry or even a bag. The brand gains lots of attention—online and offline—and everyone is happy. A win-win!
The shop was open February 7-9 and had a photo booth, a lounge with food and drinks and Wi-Fi, of course.
